Ride – 40km, Elevation – 400m
Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, our guide will meet you and bring you safely to the hotel. For those renting bicycles, they will be waiting for you and our mechanic on hand to assist setup or help
re-assemble your own bike if needed.
For those who choose, there is a short late afternoon ride along the Atlantic Ocean to Camps Bay and back. Then our welcome drinks and introduction dinner at a venue with spectacular ocean scenery.
For our Cape Town leg you will be staying at the President Hotel on the Seapoint Promenade close to all tourist activities and sights.
Ride – 109km Cycling, Elevation – 1300m
Today's ride closely mirrors the Cape Town Cycle Tour route. Inspired by the world's largest timed road cycling race taking in both the Indian and Atlantic Oceans and the Cape Peninsula, with two cafe stops for refreshments and a lunch stop, returning in the early afternoon.
For non-cycling partners, a variety of options can be booked. The shuttle will be available to go to nearby beaches, the Waterfront's extensive shopping, Oranjezicht Farm market , spa experiences or Table Mountain amongst others.
In the early evening, the group will go on an excursion with a local guide, leisurely walking in the Bo Kaap, known for its vibrant colours and cultural significance. This will include an early dinner and Cape Malay cooking lesson, offering a deeper immersion into the local cuisine and culinary traditions of the region.
Distance – 70km, elevation – 450m
Today, a flat and easy ride out along the West Atlantic coast to the north of Cape Town for its stunning coastal views of the city and mountain and a more chilled vibe with coffee and cakes in Melkbosstrand before heading back to the hotel.
For non-cyclists in the morning, a leisurely morning coffee/shop/chill time.along the promenade or at the V&A Waterfront are recommended.
At 1pm, cyclists and non-cyclists will be bussed to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens for an afternoon stroll and leisurely picnic lunch featuring the best local produce.
Sundown and dinner at own leisure so either enjoy the hotel facilities and entertainment or we can suggest many fabulous options close by.
Distance – 100km, elevation – 1200m
A memorable ride along the coast through Camp's Bay and over Chapman's Peak Drive, known for its dramatic coastal scenery. Down the other side for a coffee in Noordhoek farm village before climbing over Ou Kaapse Weg towards the Indian Ocean.
Cyclists will meet up with non-cyclists in Kalk Bay for lunch with stunning views of False Bay and the Indian Ocean.
Non-cyclist companions will have spent their morning exploring Simonstown, enjoying the penguins at Boulders Beach, visiting second-hand shops in Kalk Bay, and the beauty of Chapman's Peak Drive.
A lovely authentic dinner at a vibrant African location will be organised by ACE for those who wish to join .
Today it's a rest day with a trip to Table Mountain and travel to Franschhoek.
Either ride up or a shuttle will take you to Table Mountain for a hike, a cable car experience, or a combination of both.
After the visit to Table Mountain, the group will head to Franschhoek with 2 or 3 wine tastings and lunch on the way. Upon arrival in Franschhoek, you'll check in to the delightful Centre-Ville guesthouse or Protea Hotel located in the centre of town. The evening is free for you to enjoy at your leisure, offering a nice mix of adventure and relaxation for everyone.

A stunning ride through the Winelands from Franschhoek to Paarl and back. Non cycling partners can E-bike through the vineyards or take the wine tram tour for a unique experience.
The cyclists will be dropped off by the ACE driver, joining the non cycling partners at the final wine farm to enjoy a sample of the finest Cape blends .
This will be our last night together in the Western Cape and there will be a celebration dinner with drinks sponsored by ACE at one of our personal favourite Franschhoek restaurant.

Today
Our final breakfast will be enjoyed at the hotel after which we head to the wine capital of South Africa, Stellenbosch via the Helshoogte pass and taking in the picturesque views of the wine region on our way back. .
For some, it will be the last goodbye as the shuttle will transfer guests to the airport or Cape Town around midday. Those who chose the safari option will take a domestic flight to Johannesburg, where a friendly meet and greet shuttle will await you. You will then be transported to the Cradle of Humankind, where you can unwind and enjoy a lovely day by the pool, or at the spa, before heading to Pilanesberg for the safari experience.
